Real Betis Balompié launches innovative Sustainable Mobility Plan

The club has teamed up with Mobility Friendly for the development of this plan that aims to make fans’ trips to the Benito Villamarín Stadium a more environmentally friendly and efficient experience.

Real Betis Balompié, in its constant search for excellence both on and off the field, is launching its first sustainable mobility plan. This project, developed in collaboration with Mobility Friendly and within Forever Green, the environmental sustainability platform created by the club itself, aims to transform fans’ trips to the Benito Villamarín Stadium into a more ecological and efficient experience.

Aware of the environmental impact and congestion generated on match days, Real Betis has decided to lead by example by promoting cleaner and more sustainable mobility alternatives. This plan will not only make it easier for the team’s supporters to access the stadium, but will also contribute to improving air quality and reducing the carbon footprint in the city of Seville.

“Having partners like Mobility Friendly helps us to improve and will allow us to learn how we can be more sustainable in terms of mobility in our facilities, specifically in our stadium. This knowledge that they will provide will allow us to help raise awareness among our fans and all the key players so that we can improve our mobility on match days.”

Rafael Muela, Manager of the Real Betis Balompié Foundation

“Working with such an iconic club as Real Betis is an honor and an exciting challenge. Our mobility expertise aligns perfectly with Forever Green’s sustainability values and together we are setting a precedent for the future of sporting events.”

Paula Ródenas, Mobility Friendly Project Manager

The consulting firm Mobility Friendly, specialist in sustainable mobility solutions, will be a key partner in the design and implementation of the plan. Following this process, Mobility Friendly will send Real Betis a series of proposals to encourage fans and employees to travel to the stadium in a sustainable way.
