All Blues Day 2024: A Tribute to Club Brugge Fans and the Planet

Every year, around All Saints’ Day, Club Brugge holds a heartfelt tradition: All Blues Day. This event goes beyond football, offering family and friends the chance to honour and remember deceased Club supporters in a special way. It’s a day when the Club community comes together not only to remember its late fans but also to take meaningful steps towards a greener planet.

This year’s All Blues Day will take place during the highly anticipated home match against Anderlecht. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the lives of departed fans while making a difference through climate action.

For the 2024 edition of All Blues Day, Club Brugge offers supporters the chance to bring their loved ones back to the stadium, if only in spirit. Family and friends can register deceased fans, and their names will appear on the LED boards around the pitch during the match. This simple yet powerful gesture ensures that those who have passed away remain part of the Club Brugge family, forever connected to the team they loved.

To heighten the emotional significance of the day, an artist will perform an intimate, live rendition of “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” the iconic Club anthem. This moving tribute will resonate not only in the stands but also in the hearts of everyone present, reminding us that even in loss, no one walks alone.

Climate Action Through Forget-Me-Nots

This year, Club Brugge is adding a special environmental initiative to All Blues Day, aligning with the values of climate justice. As part of the event, 1,000 forget-me-not flowers, a beautiful blue bloom matching the Club’s colours, will be given away to fans attending the match.

Planting flowers carries profound symbolism. By planting these forget-me-nots in their own gardens, fans create a space for new life, a living memory of those they cherish. Just as these flowers grow and bloom, they remind us of the cycle of life, where even in loss, there is hope for renewal and beauty. Each plant serves as a personal tribute, a way to celebrate life, and a symbol of hope, growing into something cherished for years to come.

These flowers also represent more than just a memorial: they help sustain the environment by supporting local biodiversity. By planting forget-me-nots, supporters contribute to the earth, creating small oases that nurture both memory and nature.

All Blues Day is more than just a moment of reflection, it’s an event that strengthens the bond between Club Brugge, its fans, and the planet. As the club honours the memory of those who have passed, it also takes care of the earth by planting these flowers, creating a legacy that transcends generations.
